It has been rumoured that Go Fund Me is considering withholding funds raised for “FREEDOM CONVOY 2022” as a direct result of Canadian federal government pressure.
FREEDOM CONVOY 2022 is supported by Canadians from “coast to coast to coast” as a peaceful non-violent protest to raise awareness of the serious impacts of recent decisions made by these same politicians. As such, this convoy is important to the entire Canadian populace and carries far greater significance than simply a group of people driving across the country.
I urge Go Fund Me to respect the rights of Canadians and to continue enabling citizens to support the delivery of this peaceful, democratic and non-violent message via the GO FUND ME campaign already underway for FREEDOM CONVOY 2022.
Please do not be misled by the political partisanship or media pressure that is now attempting to mislabel this event as something that it is not.
