Dear Gary,

I’ve got some great news for you. (I haven’t been able to say that in a while!)

CUPE, the union that represents Air Canada flight attendants, has changed their mind.

Until now, they had refused to fight for their workers against Air Canada’s forced vaccine policy.

The union bosses had abandoned their members and did the bidding of company executives instead. That’s called a “yellow union” in labour law parlance.

Trouble is, when workers join a union, they give up all their rights to sue the employer — that’s called collective bargaining. So if CUPE bosses didn’t stand up for flight attendants, they literally had no choice but either be fired or take the jab.

But one brave flight attendant decided to fight back — against Air Canada, but against the shills at CUPE, too.

This flight attendant — we’re keeping her name confidential for privacy reasons — filled out the form on our website, and asked us for legal help. And we crowdfunded the money to hire three top-notch lawyers, including a specialist in labour law.

You can see their first letter to CUPE, sent two months ago, by clicking here, or visiting our special website at www.AirCanadaLawsuit.com. The letter makes the case for why CUPE had to fight for its members — it’s really worth a read.

But the union refused.

For two months, they went back and forth with our lawyers. So finally, we filed a formal complaint with the Canadian Industrial Relations Board. In effect, we sued the union on behalf of its members — accusing them of not doing their duty.

You can see that 344-page document for yourself, at the same website, www.AirCanadLawsuit.com.

It looked like it was going to be a brutal battle. But our brave flight attendant was ready. And so were our legal eagles.

And then suddenly — in a complete surprise — CUPE settled. They just surrendered.

The CUPE union representing Air Canada flight attendants agreed to do its job after all. They agreed to take up our flight attendant’s grievance, and fight back against Air Canada!

Now, we still have to keep an eye on them, to make sure they truly advocate for the flight attendant — that they don’t throw the fight, like a rigged boxing match. And of course, there’s no guarantee that the grievance will be upheld. But it’s a huge win — and a great relief for Air Canada flight attendants.

I just spoke with the labour lawyer who led the charge…click here to read my interview with him

We both had a laugh — who would ever have thought that a “right wing” media company would be crowdfunding a labour lawyer to fight for workers rights! Well, we stand for anyone who believes in freedom, and privacy, and the right to make their own medical decisions.

It’s going to be a very interesting case to watch, because our flight attendant has natural immunity — that is, she already contracted Covid, recovered from it, and is now immune. In fact, according to the CDC, there has never been a recorded case of someone with natural immunity passing on the virus to someone else.

Wouldn’t it be something if this case helped thousands, perhaps millions, of other people with natural immunity be exempt from forced vaccinations!

I don’t want to get ahead of myself — it’s just the first step. But it’s a bit of a miracle.

And all it took was:

* a brave flight attendant;
* three brilliant lawyers; and
* you.

Because our viewers crowdfunded the legal fees that would have otherwise been impossible for any union member to afford on their own.

I would really encourage you to read the legal documents that helped win the battle. They’re on www.AirCanadaLawsuit.com.

And if you or someone you know works at Air Canada and would like to get involved, have them visit that site, too — and sign up for more information. We’re going to hold a town hall meeting on Zoom for Air Canada employees, where our lawyer will explain what we’ve done, and what we can do, and how others can fight back, too.

The battle is far from over. But it is definitely begun!

And if you haven’t had a chance to contribute to our special legal fund to fight vaccine mandates, please do — you’ll even get a charitable tax receipt for it, from The Democracy Fund. You can do that right on the same website, www.AirCanadaLawsuit.com.

We’ve had so much bad news lately, I wanted to share this good news with you.

Good luck to us all — and thank you to the brave staff of Air Canada who are fighting for their rights!

Yours truly,

Ezra Levant
