My History With Moderna
I first became aware of the company Moderna (MRNA) two years ago when I read a Barron’s article about them, in I believe their Labor Day 2019 issue. I thought the Mrna research they were doing was promising (before anyone knew anything about Covid) and did some research and checked the chart. As expected, the stock jumped on the article and I made note of where I wanted to buy on a pullback. A few weeks later I and a number of my friends bought on my recommendation around 18 or so. I am not sure exactly when, but I told them this would go to between 50-100 over a one to two year period. Over the next eight months or so we became aware of Covid and this got to 80-100 faster than I expected. I and most took our profits. By then, I learned how Covid was all a scam and that this company was evil even if they were going to make a ton of money. I no longer wanted anything to do with them. One or two of my friends either bought back on a pullback where I said the chart offered a good entry point and or held some of their original position. I even tried earlier this year to catch a down wave buying a couple of puts(which I posted about) but that was a loser as the stock eventually ran up to 500. I believe they will make money for at least a little while with the booster shot nonsense, but this is destined to be a roman candle that eventually burns up and disappears, somewhere in the future. I left a lot on the table but am glad I walked away when I did, knowing what a miserable criminal enterprise they truly are.
I’m looking for it to fill the 260 gap. Could be a good short. I have traded it on the short side since the top. Armstrong thinks these implode sometime next year
