While on the surface, the US withdrwal from Afghanistan appears to be about total incompetence, don’t minimize the level of deviousness inherent in Joe Biden and the deep state. By leaving in the fashion they did, with all the weaponry and technological equipment left behind, two additional goals get met. The administration and Pentagon will push to increase their budget even more to replace those weapons and equipment and the political apparatus will push for more Patriot Act like measures to protect against a possible rise in terrorism.
