   Bread and Circuses may not work this time.

   Once the citizens realize that Covid was this generations Fear meme leading to Control of the people, they may wake up.
   All the currency creation and wealth generation of the elites.
   MSM never talks about what is happening behind the scenes. Covid acts as a huge distraction.
   Divide and conquer works well. Jabbed against the unjabbed.

   I wake up every morning and wonder what new draconian measures our “betters” have cooked up for us.

   Huge sports fan for whole life (less so last few years) Baseball favorite. Never been interested in Olympics.(always political bullshit) and we have enough political bullshit in everyday life to deal with now, so who needs any more of it. Not only should they have cancelled this one they should CANCEL CHINA’s upcoming PROPOGANDA games next year!(never happen)

   I worked at the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland for almost three years. I’ve loved the games, regardless of the immense corruption (big money always gets big corruption.) While working there, they raised the worldwide sponsorship from $10 million to $40 million. People were aghast, but they sold those sponsorships like hotcakes. Don’t know what they go for now.

   Regardless, we’ve been to the games a couple of times in person and it is an awesome thing. Or it used to be. The tainting of all sport did not pass by what was once amateur competition. The Olympics is now it is all about the money, with politics thrown in, like everything else.

   At any rate, we cannot even bear to view the games, much less an individual sport or single competition. My gag reflex is too well honed.

   Another signpost on the road to doom.

   I’ll pass, thanks! Western athletes have figured out that the media will make them rich and famous if they amplify leftist criticisms of our society (see Megan Rapinoe, ignoble, purple haired, leaping groan!). I wouldn’t cross the street to watch most of these sports. Why would I watch them when the practitioners are insulting me?
