A unjabbed friend in VT was shunned on a Green Mountain Club hike today, disgusting!
The leader was okay with her not being jabbed. The rest went full on bat shit crazy. All Jabbed to with an inch of their lives. I have known these people for 17 years. What’s with these people! They made her feel totally unwelcome. I would have been unrelenting in my admonishment and asked “what about my body, my choice” that they all subscribe to.
It was the same reasoning as, “My sunscreen won’t work, if you don’t wear yours”.
Do they not trust their jab? Will they continue to wear rags on their face? Will they always need to identify the unjabbed to keep them safe? They ran away from her!!!!
The amount of brainwashing is incredible. They likely don’t know that to keep up their so called Jabbed protection and jab credentials, they need the top-up sometime in the Fall. Will they be pissed or just accept it?
They have signed up for perpetual jabbing until they un-drink the Koolaid.
It is a revelation how stupid 90% of the people out there are ..
Seriously !
The complete lack of understanding is incredible
These people should not ever be allowed to breed.
Morons ….and they outnumber us….so far.
Expect their numbers to be “culled” over the next few years
sheesh
It’s almost as if this whole covid thing is really just a mass psychosis. Everything is just a gross overreaction by people at every level of society. The government and the media lying to us doesn’t explain why so many people are believing the lies. Suddenly modern society has become wildly superstitious. Unbelievers must be driven out of society or else they’ll bring a curse on the whole global village. Masks themselves are like talismans or good luck charms.
The Hike Leader, in his 90’s, was Hitler Youth. Jabbed but doesn’t believe the rest of the BS. He can still hike and bike for a couple of hours at a time. He thought it would be better if he had some added protection. I think he now has buyers remorse. he has seen this behaviour before.
Anyone who disagrees with the Hive mind is labelled a Trumper or worse. They call us weasels as in weaselling out of the jab. They believe we should all take the experimental gene therapy for the common good. I think Fully is correct in that they may find their numbers culled in the next few years. We have no idea of the long-term effects.
I will look at them differently in the future if allowed to go on a hike with them.
Masks are exactly that.
Those in charge are like spoiled children. They may be extremely clever, some of them, but they are not wise. They certainly can hire expertise of certain sorts, and one sort is psychological manipulation that works on most people. Their experts have also learned (and undoubtedly advised them) that it need not work on all the population. For example, they know that many of those who have been convinced are going to have such a strong emotional stake in the matter that if for no other reason than not wanting to admit what they’ve done they will just dig in deeper. Their employment of psychologists and propaganda is one of their relative strengths.
They may manage to devastate the world though they will never be happy.
One of their problems is Murphy’s Law. Even though they have obviously had many decades to use the ‘best’ of the best experts’ planning, and they have had many dry runs of large but smaller events, they have not attempted anything like this. This is rather complicated, and complicated ventures can have multiple glitches. (Not that the glitches necessarily protect us.)
Another problem is that they are not going to be able to agree with themselves for too long. They are too selfish.
Another one still is that there are probably oligarchs who are absolutely disgusted with the whole thing who are trying in their own way to figure out how to sabotage it.
I could list other potential weaknesses. I am not sure they do us a lot of good right now however. I am rather in awe (horror) of the power and meticulousness of the planning, and especially of its psychological effectiveness.
I had more but enough for now.
They’ve lifted the mask mandate in B.C. I went to two gov’t liquor stores where absolutely everyone was masked up. I no longer wish to live among these people.
Sorry, I meant to reply to you.
Were you asked to mask up?
Heading to Vancouver momentarily and hope not to see a lot of facial rags.
No. They all looked at me as though I had two heads.
So stores don’t mandate you to wear a mask? Just wondering how much fun I will have.
I suppose private stores can demand whatever they want. I imagine they would forfeit some of their business, but most of them have passively accepted the mass destruction of small business over the past many months. So who knows.
No mask mandate here in BC. A silly few still mask up. Ignore them.
I noticed the same as well, some stores still had staff wearing them and many, many still walking outside with them on. Time to put the Trump2020 hat back on and go get into some arguments next time I go shopping. Should be easy pickins’ !
Even though my wife feels the same, she prevents me from causing problems. I was asked not to come back to a store without our interior designer present to keep me in check. Geez!
They can’t stand us questioning the narrative. We decided to forego the reno. Not doing business with folks like that.
If I have to wear a mask from now on I will write “USELESS” across the front.
Were you asked to mask?
I wish I could tell my personal story.
I wish we could be together, left alone.
Many of us, very much including many too intimidated to comment, probably have many personal details that they could contribute. It is in fact the personal details, the ones that are so to speak ‘inappropriate’ for this sort of forum that are probably the most instructive and useful for others.
One of the most impressive aspects of the imposed strategy is that it prevents unsupervised personal contact. For reasons I will not go into at least now I was in more or less personal lockdown for over a decade, barely talking to anyone up until this week, and was entirely distrustful of any electronics for decades (as were many people with certain technical backgrounds). For most people however communications means phone, internet much as history of X is the hollywood depiction of X in their minds.
What is particularly scary is that many younger people simply would not read anything of any sort anywhere since they have been trained not to read.
I suppose there are 2-3 consolations, of sorts.
One is that this is a worst case scenario.
Even back in the 1980s I went on hikes with the Appalachian Mt Club, undoubtedly similar. Karens and Kens before such things existed in name. I have reason to believe similar western US clubs were similar. You were informed that if you didn’t bring exactly the right XYZ you would not be allowed to participate. Pants had to be 100% wool, not just mostly wool, for example, because the Leader did not want to be responsible for your dying of hypothermia, not fair to the rest of the group.
Then there’s Vermont and its sociology. It’s about the worst possible case you could think of in the US. For one thing, think of they who are not to be named who own it, and they keep it low key so that you forget. That branch of the family is so low key and (we can hope at least) mellow that they may actually not like what’s going on for all I know. But I’d have to assume that the injectorama propaganda is especially pervasive in that state because obviously that family likes the idea of keeping land free and fairly pristine without too many people around although we can hope they like a gentler version than WCGIII’s. Also that state has few blacks. US blacks who aren’t civil servants are among the most recalcitrant. Even those brainwashed and stupified by showbizz and the ‘education’ racketeering; even if they haven’t heard of Tuskgeekee–they aren’t as dumb as the white professional upper middle class ‘liberals’ by a long shot, who are the absolute worst suckers for propaganda.
Very Interesting Insight Karl .
I think the “Stoney”fellers are mostly out of the state.
I know absolutely nothing about recreational drug use but I believe that at least a couple of members of that branch liked being there (default) and at least one or two of them might have been able at least to try to be nice in one way or another as default.
We do have the image of oligarchs as all being horrific crude psychopaths acting in unison. Some may have simply been born into this or that family and happened to have liked living in a rural setting. I would. They might be at about as much of a loss as any of us. Not saying those people in particular, but you never know.
I perhaps should not post or should post more prominently, but there are perfectly reasonable ways of being for reducing population, and one can see this or that branch of this or that family being like that. Individuals or even branches of families could be aghast at clever and cunning plans. One does not force things. One enables clean food and water and suggests that people do not need lots of offspring to care for them when older. One tries to do things gently over generations. I do not know about that particular branch, but I have the impression that at least in recent decades they might have loved being in Vermont and Vermont the way it was. I’m not sure whether it was the Vermont of a couple of decades ago or the Vermont of before humans arrived.
You go to the museum in Woodstock on how farming used to be done. It is homage to the Billings branch of the family and its VT heritage among other things. I may well be unrealistic, but there could well be a return-to-family-farming, let’s support family farming and voluntary smallness here and there in the high oligarchy if not there then elsewhere that is shocked and bewildered.
Very familiar with Woodstock. Lived in the Village and the surrounding area.during my time there.
I know it less well. I am belaboring the point, and haven’t been to the museum for decades, but look at it from another angle and the museum can be denigrated as white supremacist prepper propaganda — or from another angle whether preppers might almost (not quite) apply for grants from some foundation there.
Thanks for sharing Columbia, don’t underestimate the nearly perfected psych effect that FBGoogTwit and all the other UNSOLICITED trash that comes through people’s ‘smart’ phones has. We are truly living among zombies.
You can never win a debate with an idiot.
I would have left the group. No point hanging around fools and idiots. Life is too short.
