SOMEONE WAS IMPRESSED WITH SIR PLUNGERS WEEKEND REPORT
From R640 at the Chartology Forum
Plunger–I never post or distribute any of Rambus’ work. But I took the liberty of sending Rick Ackerman-a friend of mine–your report-this was his response:

“Who is Plunger? What is his reputation? What is the reason for his citation of Rambus? In what forum was this Weekend Report posted? I cannot understand, . This piece cries out for attention because it is so very good: provocative, thoughtful and precise. It is good enough, actually, to cause me to rethink the “gold question.” The conundrum plagues me, and I get tied up in knots trying to spin gold’s nasty, brutish and diabolically seductive bearishness as bullish just to please my hard-money following.
I will think this through and run it past my own experts – Bob Hoye, Peter Eliades, Doug Behnfield/Bob Farrell, Garrett Jones – before I respond.”
RA
Don’t know what RA will eventually come up with after consulting with those formidable experts. My take is not to focus on the miners as a group(relatively noisey) but to focus on the actual metals(gold and silver). Once you have made your decision on direction (my take is they are still in bull markets until the charts say otherwise, concentrate on the few strongest miners. Over diversification leads to mediocre performance.(Fine for unsophisticated persons who lack the expertise and or desire to study the charts).
