I have always been ambivalent towards Marty . He is an enigma wrapped up in a conundrum.
Marty claims to be well connected and influential .
And I am for sure NOT. Nor are any of us.
So fortunately we have an Armstrong Watcher in one of our Groups ( Thanks Joel)
He is forwarding information on the Schwab and WEC.
Marty seems to have some inside intelligence on all these big players.
This one is very interesting ( PS one look at this happy couple and you begin to understand why he is such a miserable cretin .

I recently began digging into my family’s past. In every direction.
Once I learned the town my father’s family came from, I learned they had traced the entire city’s genealogy back to 1700 and before, and published a set of seven volumes at 500pp each.
With ample photos.
Back when RELIGION in all caps ruled the day.
OMG, I’m glad I’m not from that era.
They are ALL like that. If they had a sense of humor, it wasn’t evident.

I will add that in many generations, there were roughly ten kids born under each roof on average.
BUT … there were periods when a large share of that crop never saw their first birthdays too.
Their stoicism might trace back to how rough it could get back then.
