Loading ...Change Replace
In industry terms, change replace, refers to an auto insurance policy when the policyholder removes a car from the policy to replace it with another vehicle.(I started my business career over 50 years ago working for GEICO while attending college.) I am going to be doing a change replace on the “Terrific Ten.” I have been contemplating getting rid of a weak performing member for a while and a new rock came to my attention that I believe will offer much better long term performance. I am recommending that those who have funds available, purchase the replacement now and take out the underperformer, later. I would buy Nevada King Gold (VKMTF) under .60 and wait to sell GSV at .72. GSV has been undergoing dilution and acting poorly. Those funds should do much better in Nevada King.

I agree that GSV has underperformed, and I will also exit partial position, for may be a 10-20% profit. Always good to look at weak performers and reduce when the price spikes.
What is your update on Fremont Gold (FRERF)? That one is also drifting sideways for a long time.

Good to hear from you GL. As far as FRERF, yes,it has drifted lower for months. It is not unusual during a correction for gold that rocks with no actual production drift until the bull phase gets going again. Now that we are underway I would hope to see better performance as gold approaches and exceeds 1900 again. If that happens and FRERF(or any others for that matter) don’t participate, I would consider switching them out as well.
