Hopes and Fears Of All The Years
I’m sure that’s a song lyric. Anyway, the following chart summarises the bull/bear case. The failure of indicators like TRIX/BB Width to replicate the sort of moves we saw back in the 1980’s tends to suggest that the move into 2011 was just the start of a much, much bigger move. On the other hand, there is an argument that says we have to wait 20 years…
First cycle was a doozer
Second Cycle a Bust
Third Cycle a doozer
Fourth Cycle ?
Law of rotation ?
Anyway it goes this is another good chart
Thanks FGC – we’ll find out in due course 🙂
Northstar, that happens to me all the time. An old songs lyrics will remind me of a situation. Here’s where you are remembering that line from
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
***The hopes and fears of all the years***
Are met in thee tonight
For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to God the King
And Peace to men on earth
Away in a manger
No crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down His sweet head
The stars in the sky
Look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay
Asleep on the hay
O holy Child of Bethlehem
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born to us today
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
Our Lord Emmanuel
That’s it ! Thanks JSK !
In regards to the 20 year wait, what do you think will be the US debt position in that length of time considering the current velocity of it’s appreciation?
Yep, probably a default and a reevaluation of the dollar by then.
That’s another reason why I can’t see a repeat of the 1990’s and 2000’s sideways boredom.
