The 12-day war caused Iran to revise its military doctrine. US/Israel struck Iran today but it won’t last for long – here’s why.

Israeli intelligence has concluded that even with the imminent arrival of the USS Gerald R Ford, “the US has military capacity to sustain only a four to five-day intense aerial assault, or a week of lower-intensity strikes”, an Israeli intelligence official source said. Iran in contrast; is able to sustain an extended conflict as well as blocking the Strait of Hormuz for several months with global economic consequences. The build-up of US forces over the last month has not changed the strategic balance.
