Silver Fox
Had a call from his son. Appears the end is near. No pain. Will likely drift away in a day or so.
GMG and I are glad to have spent time with SF over the years at the Freedom group, visits to his place or ours.
An easy person to converse with but very private. SF even met the colourful Aussie Digger for dinner at my place years ago.
I will remember him for his beloved orchard where he had grafted different varieties on some of the apple trees. Very talented.
The abundant fruit was donated to the local Food Bank.
Grew many varieties of grape as well.
Many conversations about Gold and Silver and the rapid rise the past month or two. He acknowledged 5000 Gold and 100 Silver and was very happy to have seen those levels.
He had made peace with his maker and was not afraid. God is with him.
His son, daughters and grandchildren will carry on his legacy.
THANK YOU COLUMBIA AND GREEN MOUNTAIN GIRL FOR THE WONDERFUL SUPPORT YOU HAVE PROVIDED TO OUR FOXY
I NEVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING HIM IN PERSON BUT HE IS A KINDERED SPIRIT AND A SCHOLAR AND A GENTLEMAN WHO HAS BEEN A GREAT CONTRIBUTOR TO THIS COMMUNITY
THIS NEWS IS BITTER SWEET. IT IS BEAUTIFUL TO KNOW HE HAS BEEN SURROUNDED BY SO MUCH LOVE AND CARING DURING THIS LAST CHAPTER OF HIS LIFE
THANKS AGAIN TO BOTH OF YOU FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE SUPPORT FOR A MAN YOU MET ONLY RECENTLY AND THANKS FOR THE UPDATES
THIS WHOLE EPISODE RESTORES SOME FAITH THAT THERE IS STILL A LOT OF GOOD IN THE CRAZY WORLD
FULLY
Extra hugs for all concerned.
He was a regular in response to my posts early on in my time here.
Always respectful and appreciative.
RIP, when it comes.
We will miss you Foxy.
You gave us the magnificent Duran for world news, in particular, Ukraine where you had roots.
You had much grace and personal dignity.
I salute you in your new home.
May your apple trees be tended well.
Thank you Columbia.
All the best to Foxy’s family.
Truly an honor to have SF share his thoughts with us over the years.
Goodnight dear friend.
