They saw that our Presidents in the past were compromised by the Deep State.
What these people do not see, is that Trump is simply not compromised by the Deep State.
He is not one of “them” and he just proved it. He has no desire for war. He has no desire to get the US entangled in foreign conflicts to feed the war machine. He has no desire to destabilize nations for the CIA. He has no desire for regime change.
How do I know he is not one of “them”? Because ever since Trump came down the escalator, it has been 99.999% negative coverage from the media. They tried to remove him from office. They tried to imprison him. They tried to bankrupt him. They tried to overthrow him. They indicted him. They raided his home. Then they tried to kill him on live TV.
The reason they expended so much ammunition trying to stop Trump, is specifically because he is NOT one of “them”, and they knew it, which made him an existential threat to their power.
What the Trump-haters are missing from their analysis, is that Trump is actually a good leader, who actually wants to do good for the world, and actually knows what he is doing. Which I know is hard for everyone to believe, because most of the world have never seen a competent leader in their entire lives.
Once you understand Trump is not controlled and is actually trying to dismantle the Deep State, you can never unsee it.

I would like to be in full agreement with Clandestine, I guess maybe in the same way I still wish I could believe in Santa Claus. For me, Trump is incredibly entertaining, a real wild card and maybe, just maybe, he’s even better than all the good that could ever be said about him. I like to think so.
Do you think Clandestine has selective memory when he blasts “the Trump-haters” (i.e. ANYONE who exercises ANY caution about Trump, including me, ANYONE who is not a Trump cheerleader). I mean, do you think Clandestine believes what he writes, including this:

I don’t make believe I know what Trump is ultimately up to. It does appear he is leading the dismantling of the deep state, which is incredible if true. I hope for the best and support him in the obvious good stuff, but I have no blind faith in any human, which is what Clandestine seems to be preaching.
Every GREAT leader had his faults.
Trump is a great leader …. on par with Putin (for Russia) and others you can name (I’ll take Milei here).
Doesn’t mean you have to LIKE him personally (eg his egotism).
And he does operate under constraints (I think jury is still out on Warpspeed if he senses that he HAD to offer up something to those who wanted it, suspecting that a repeat of Bird Flu 1917 was being unleashed BY THE DEEP STATE AGAINST HIM).
Most of his Troubles as 45 you can hand off to McConnell, who saddled him with bad Cabinet options. Senate Confirmation and all in the face of a RINO Majority.
If you watch THE DETAILS of what he’s doing, step by step, long in advance, he is tactical like no one on Earth has seen since Patton.
Certainly not as POTUSes, who tend to be reactive not pro active.

I think you make my main (unstated) point: Trump is fighting a war.
There is no example in history of war leading to anything but temporary peace, at best. “Live by the sword, die by the sword.”
People will do what people will do, including you, me and Trump. But I’m not interested in fighting, or supporting, ANY WAR, or anybody engaging in war mentality. Even if Trump is the best thing since Patton, his warring leads to nowhere I want to go. If a true path to peace unfolds out of all this, Trump will have my full support.

I won’t argue with you about your view that the “jury is still out on Warpspeed if (Trump) senses that he HAD to offer up something to those who wanted it”, but I will share my view on the subject, as pertains to Trump.
Warpspeed was no benign little bargaining chip. If it was obvious common sense to many GoldTenters that it was potentially deadly to allow oneself to be injected with an unknown substance, especially one produced by America’s biggest convicted criminal entities (pharmaceutical companies), and apparently also involving DARPA and who knows who else, it should also have been obvious to any “great leader” not to endorse such a thing, for any reason, let alone brag about it for years. As it stands, Trump’s complicity with Warpspeed puts him squarely in league with a group of people who stand to collectively go leaps and bounds beyond Genghis Khan, Stalin, Mao and Hitler combined as humanity’s greatest killers. Either Trump was/is compromised, is dumb as a rock in some areas that really count, or he believes the end justifies the means. Do we little people count only as cannon fodder to him? IF/when Trump apologizes for his involvement in Warpspeed, he will gain huge respect from me.
It was ironic to me that the ‘Never Again’ country led the charge into what could end up being self-cancellation, initiated through the coercion of their fearless leader to take the shot. Here’s what AI says about it:

It amazes me that people actually cheered Trump’s orders to bomb a site with possible nuclear material on the opposite side of the world. Insane!
The way humans act has always puzzled me, as so many spend so much effort trying to win at an imaginary game, even though no one knows what the real game actually is. Remember the image of our little blue marble floating in vast space (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blue_Marble)? Unless and until enough of us start acting like we’re all in this together, and support leaders who do the same, we are all at risk of this beautiful blue marble becoming uninhabitable by human beings. RESPECT is the name of the game.
