Could we be in wave 5 for silver?
I had this thought…the 1980 peak in silver was followed by a bear market that lasted until the final low of $3.51 in 1991. A new bull started here, Wave 1 ended at $7.40 in 1998( the Warren Buffet peak). Then corrective wave 2 ended at $4.01 in late 2001. Then wave 3 ended at $49.82 in April of 2011. Then corrective wave 4 ended at $13.62 in December 2015. We are now in wave 5. I know there are measuring tools with Elliot wave to guestimate where wave 5 will go to but if it is about equal to wave 3 then we could see silver at $130 to $150.
Hi JSKauai
The link is incomplete. Can you re-post please ??
Paul, I have to do it this way or stock charts will not let it post as they must have some imbedded feature that posts the message to “go to stock charts” if I try to provide the complete link. So try this; 1st type into your browser stock charts.com then copy, then paste, my link and a chart for silver from 1/1981 to date will appear. It has a 50 month moving average in the chart which clearly shows that when silver is above the 50 ma silver is in a bull and when below it a bear. We are currently below the average which is at $19.20 but it is falling. We tested the average in 2016 but failed to move above it. I predict we should move above this average sometime in 2017.
Link doesn’t work for me either.
But if its a monthly, you have to be a sub anyhow. Non subs can’t see it no matter what.
Would be better to save the original chart as jpg or png onto your HDD.
Then upload the chart into the post, using the instructions …at Posting Information (upper right, 4th down)
PS – it would be interesting to see your LT chart with the EW count, as it doesn’t and likely can’t link up with my LT gold EW count, given the 1991 silver low vs the 1999 low for gold. There’s probably ‘a message’ in the non alignment too, but I’m not about to try to sort through that right now.
Thank you pedro! who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!!lol
