Kennedy Jr. removed four members from the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines, a federal body that advises the secretary on the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. The move could signal upcoming changes to the program — changes Kennedy previously hinted at.
In July 2025, Kennedy said in a detailed post on X that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) planned to overhaul the vaccine injury compensation program. “The VICP is broken, and I intend to fix it,” he posted.
