   Crawling along the bottom while the others all soared.

   I’m curious how they decide what the start date is for a bull market? What exacte criteria do the use? That would change very much the look of this chart. I doubt our current bull started in 2015…

   I remember Louis James – he use to work with Doug Casey and during the last turn up he , Along with many other gurus – forgot to tell his clients to cash out , guess that’s the hard part…
   during the last run up only a handful of investors saw the writing on the wall Rambus was top of that line

   Except 2001-2011 other two bull trend were 4 years long in time. The current if one calls it bull trend is already 4 years long.

   In fact the other two can be combined in to one 1970 to 1980. Why break it up.
   Then one has to break up the 1999 to 2007 and 2009-2011

   I think it just demonstrates the insignificance of the move from 2016 to now. In truth, gold from the year 2000 to now is just one load of bull, so to speak.
