EDR/EXK… performed great in the last bull market and is on a tear now

   Hey, North – what a week. I bought a flyer in some EXK calls a couple of weeks ago. Got hammered as EXK took another nosedive and my calls were worthless. Today, I can sell them for a decent profit.

   I had SAND calls for $6 strike that expire tomorrow, and had written them off as SAND simply was not catching a bid. held those things for over a month. Bam! Sold them today for a profit. The recency of experience in writing them off caused me to likely sell too early. They’ve gone up a nickel since I sold them an hour ago.

   This is what a bull market looks and feels like. Hard as it is, I’ve been peeling off some calls to add to my cash since I had depleted myself in getting positioned. Rightly so, as it turns out. This week alone I’m up over 30%. I keep looking at these moves in gold and silver and it gives me the shivers. Where is the pullback, the correction?

   Yeah, EXK has broken out and I am holding some very nice calls with August expiry. Think I’ll hang on – if/when silver pulls back, it will methinks be short and shallow.

   Something big is afoot, no doubt about it. Way too much money is flowing into the shares and the metals for there not to be.

   Agree with you, silverboom. It’s not just small speculators driving this bull market. Good thing you had the patience to hang on to your calls. The correction, which was hardly one at all, lasted about three weeks. It’s great to see this bull market return after all those years of waiting. I can’t tell you how many times I bought in over those eight years and sold out fast to preserve capital for this occasion. 🙂

   Going to be interesting to watch this thing unfold.

     Ha, unlike you, I bought and lost, bought and lost. I have only a few shekels left to play with but they are multiplying fast. Fortunately, got my son in two weeks ago.

     At this stage of my life I’ll take all the wins I can get my hands on.
