“I am a contractor in Vancouver and new single family home construction is definitely slow at the moment. I was at my suppliers this week at 830 am and the yard should have had a few dozen trucks picking up material and I was literally the only one there. I also have all sorts of guys calling me for work and including owners of other companies. There does still seem to be a fair amount of high rise construction but contractors there cutting their prices down to the bare minimum just to keep their crews going. The next few years is going to be rough.”

Canada is in a recession now, so much spin off from construction and now all grinding to a halt. Why sell and upgrade with a higher rate mtg. Read the comments
