Largest voter turnout in 30 years, and with 18 parties in Parliament, the Farmers party (BBB) got 30% of the vote, by far the highest–and Holland’s current leaders will soon be out on their ear.

2nd update from a Dutch activist: “Unfortunately the farmers party is not real opposition. I think the Netherlands is lost. Our dictator Rutte, will be able to ignore the farmer party as he had other options in the senate. Politically we are lost. BBB is the name of the farmer party, i kid you not.

We have organised independent observers at the elections. Many irregularities. Next week i will give an update with the numbers.”

1st Update (after speaking with a Dutch legal person and American living in Holland): the pro-lockdown parties lost and likely the public health legislation that is pending to make permanent some of the COVID rules will fail (hopefully). Great that the farmers’ party came out on top. The Forum for Democracy, the anti-WEF, pro-transparency party lost 10 of its 12 seats—whether this might be due to election shenanigans or whether their votes went to the Farmer party is unclear. Overall a win.
