Polish President Andrzej Duda confirmed that Poland will send the first four MIG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine in the coming days.
Andrzej Duda added that Poland has up to two dozen such fighters in stock, which in the early 1990s were transferred to Poland from the GDR.
“These are still active MiGs, these are the last years of their operation by norms, but they are still working. In the next few days we’re handing them over, four of the planes to Ukraine are fully serviceable. The rest are in repair and service, and will also be successfully transferred later. Their place will be taken by FA-50s from South Korea and American F-35s,” the Polish president said.

SO …. WITH THIS DELIVERY OF ~24 PLANES (WHOLE OR IN PARTS) DOES NATO OFFICIALLY DECLARE WAR ON RUSSIA?
OR DOES POLAND REPLACE UKRAINE AS THE SUPPLIER OF TROOPS TO FIGHT NATO’S BATTLE?
US ran out of Ukranian Cannon Fodder…Now will add Polish Cannon Fodder
Russians are ALREADY saying that Polish regular military is on front-line in Ukraine (field reports include +20 Polish captured last week or so). Fog of War though as who’s saying what to whom. Perhaps DoD or Putin will confirm it.
In meantime, could this open up POLAND as a battlefield. It’s the staging ground for most equipment heading to Ukraine and Russia surely must have the co-ordinates of warehouses etc. already dialed in. Would they risk escalation by saying planes = declaration of war?
