The post below of the Chinese diplomat talking about war and nuclear destruction is just ridiculous posturing in front of next months summit between Xi & Trump.   Even if the Iran blockade were to largely reduce China’s access to cheaper oil than otherwise available in the global marketplace, it doesn’t mean China will not have access to oil.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Trump and the US, will gladly sell US oil(including from Venezuela) but at the going market rates and probably priced in Petro dollars.   That may be a hiccup to China’s economy and plans, but no more so, than China’s policy to eliminate any export of Silver from China, being a hiccup and threat to the US economy.  In fact, part of the US strategy regarding Iran, Venezuela and oil policy, is likely to negotiate a deal with China, vis a vis, both oil for China and Silver for the US.
