The most powerful navy on Earth just got outplayed by speedboats, drones, and a 21-mile stretch of water.
Everyone assumed America could lock down the Strait of Hormuz whenever it needed to.
That assumption is now being tested in real time.
There is a theory going round that has a lot of merit
The Straits of Hormuz blockage does not affect the USA . But it does affect just about everyone else
China and India Especially as well as Japan and Most of Asia . USA is really in no hurry to get the straits open
Yes Gas prices at the Pump in US are up from about $3 a gallon to about $3.80 But this is offset by the fact that US is an Net Exporter and reaps the benefit of the higher prices .
Trump can just wait out all the “Allies” and they soon will be forced to take action in the Strait

Rutte KNOWS Trump means business, and Trump just threatened to pull away from the Strait entirely and let it fall on our “allies” to secure it

I don’t think IRAN cares about the money…..their people will suffer & starve before they consider capitulation …. and if they keep hitting ME oil fields the world will suffer & starve alongside them …. which I perceive is their sole strategy.
Iran knows it cannot defeat the US Military BUT it can inflict tremendous pain on the world so that the world demands the US stop.
Too early to know if this speculation is accurate but lets see what next 6 months brings.
Same process goes with their leaders — as each dies a new one will be announced — IRAN has 93.5M people — enough to announce a new level of leader every day for a very VERY long time. It doesn’t matter if they know what they are doing as they may only live for one day longer BUT it will cost a missile for the next level to be announced.
