The new GC Wallet is supposed to be a ‘foundational component’ of a controversial yet-to-come digital ID system.
Despite clear signs that most Canadians do not want a national digital ID, the Liberal government of Prime Minister Mark Carney has quietly released a new type of digital ID app on Google’s Play Store called GC Wallet.
The new app appeared on Google sometime late last week and was developed by Canada’s Employment and Social Development department. This is the same department, as reported by LifeSiteNews, that recently said it would move ahead with digital identification for anyone seeking federal benefits, including seniors on Old Age Security.
Hoo boy, have I got a story about the dangers of digital records. This morning……okay let me start from the beginning: I had routine complete blood panel done Jan 2 of this year and again Dec 11. I have been trying to compare results from the two but for some reason the Jan 2 ones have vanished from my record. Only one parameter remained visible. I know they were there at one point because I had a follow-up visit at my doctors office mid-Jan to discuss and we did go over them.
So this morning I called Interior Health tech support. They told me an alternate way to bring them up, but I already knew about it and had tried it to no avail.
In the end, the rep told me that the requisition must have only had one parameter on it. I insisted that no, it was a complete panel and that I’d seen the results with my own eyes.
It went back and forth like this until I realized it was futile, the results had obviously been somehow deleted but Interior Health (or should I say “Inferior Health”) was not going to admit it, they were going to claim that it was never done.
So now I have no means of comparison.
Think of the implications for other health records. And financial. And legal.
But the dum-dums will keep voting for Carnage and his digital ID 🙁
If they make Digital Wallet mandatory for old-age Security — the “bulk” of Canadian seniors will be forced into Digital ID.
It is THE government’s stick to force compliance anongs’t the boomer generation!
One consolation is if you do well with the PM’s the OAS is all clawed back anyway.
My thoughts are that they may force people into Digital ID’s if the Currency transition requires all Brokerages, banks and other financial institutions to convert Cdn dollars into the new CBDC when you sell the securities. A solution to the Great Taking.
That’s why having PM physical assets outside the banking system will protect your wealth.
If Digital Control is in place by then — PM’s might only be useable for black market goods — unless a parallel barter system arises from the ashes …….
The digital system will be hacked to death by some guy in his mom’s basement…they will have to abandon it as it creates havoc with financial transactions and the economy ceases up

The Government can hack into your computer if they need to. It goes both ways. Nothing is truly secure. Think about how the data brokers obtain your info.
If there is a will, there is a way.
