Ten year bond yields shooting higher. H&S top invalidated. A slingshot move to the recent ATH will not be good for metals, stocks. DXY following higher too. If yields go higher than recent all time highs then bad things will happen.

Why did gold go up in the seventies when interest rates rose exponentially?
Does it mean that interest rates are not a driving force in the price discovery mechanism for gold?
Rates in the 70’s just as they are today will only trail inflation until it is seen that TPTB are about to lose control. The longer the spread between rates (lagging) and inflation (leading) remains high, the stronger the tailwind for hard assets and depreciation of currencies (aka debt). We’re still in the first two innings I believe.
