Note the difference between the one-dose rate (top line chart) and the fully vaccinated (two dose) rate (lower bar chart) between Israel and Canada, the two top countries in terms of percentage of total population with one dose of a Covid vaccine.

Israel has been at it longer and has put enormous pressure on people to get with Pfizer’s program and Canada fortunately had some supply issues in the early part of this year getting doses, so part of this difference in fully dosed rate is due to the different rates of the “rollout” in these two countries.  Canada has a similar 1/2 dose rate similar to the proportion for India where villagers in some places have driven “vaccinators” away with stones and screams only to have their electricity cut off later…  I can get by without power for a while this summer.  I’m a little short on rocks though.
