The Putin–Trump Alliance Against the European Union Alexander Dugin discusses the main purpose of the Trump-Putin phone call.
I Believe this piece by Dugin is perhaps the most important piece ever written regarding the Ukraine situation…
Every personal exchange between Putin and Trump represents a very important step toward clarifying the new architecture of the world. But, of course, the issue of Ukraine cannot be resolved either in yesterday’s phone conversation or in any upcoming potential meetings between our presidents. One crucial element is missing in this picture — our military superiority.
Despite our recent successful advances, we have not yet achieved clear superiority over the enemy in the course of military operations. Yes, we are up against the entire West, and that obviously explains a lot. But the fact remains: we have not yet secured a position of strength from which we could say, “This satisfies us, this is victory — this is our territory, and this is the buffer zone.”
Trump truly does want to end this war. But the conditions for its conclusion must be different from what is currently on offer. And the guarantee of that lies in our military victories over the Kiev regime and in establishing control, in addition to the four regions already liberated, over at least another four or five regions of former Ukraine. In fact, only then could real peace negotiations begin. But we are still far from that point, and so the war is not over for us, because there has been no real victory. A ceasefire under these circumstances would amount to admitting defeat — and that would be fatal for our state.

For the most part, this is a reflection of reality. It seems that Trump needs more convincing that the war is lost. One wonders why, since it is obvious to most observers. Trump himself has said that Russia will win. Yet, says Dugin, Russia must conquer four or five more oblasts to convince Trump. That is precisely what the Russian negotiating team said in Istanbul; next time the demand will be eight, not four, oblasts! Rather than accept the reality of Russia’s victory from the outset of his second term, Trump allows Biden’s policy to continue for another year or two so that he can be convinced of Russia’s bone fides. What stupidity! Tens of billions more wasted dollars. More than another couple of hundred thousand wasted lives. Four or five more oblasts removed from Ukraine’s purview. For what exactly? To convince Trump that Russia is capable. Good Lord! If he’s not convinced now, why is Dugin convinced he will be a year from now? Maybe he’s just the second coming of Biden!
Donald Trump says, “This is not my war!” Wanna bet?
That is NOT what Dugin says here
Re Reread the piece
Trumps wants Peace Now
Putin cannot start negotiations now because he is NOT in a strong Negotiating Position
Dugin correctly states unequivically Russia has NOT won the war …not by a LONG Shot
he correctly states there is a stalemate here
If Russia would negotiate at this point it would be a Loss
They need to take all the territory east of the River to be in a strong enough position to exact what they want and need
to keep the 4 Oblasts and to have a Buffer Zone
Dugin is asking the Putin respectfully convey this reality to Trump and to emphasize that They have a Common Enemy
Dugin ( and Putin) are very happy to have Trump as an ally against the Euro Globalists and need to solidify this alliance
In sumary Russia needs to fight on and take more territory to WIN this war…they have failed so far . They need to mobilize all their Military assets and smash through.
no more inching along as they have been doing . Trump cannot end this war. Only Russia can …by decisively winning it
Thats what Dugin’s piece is all about
IF Trump washes his hands and withdraws support and Russia gets its act together …the war could end in a year or two and Russia can have all the spoils they desire
I read the piece. My comment stands. Russia is well on its way to winning the war. If Trump wants to finance two more years of barbarity, so be it. Russia has been clear from the outset, if the west continues to support Ukraine’s military effort, it will not change the outcome, it will only lengthen the war, and diminish Ukraine’s future.
One might consider that Putin is quite satisfied with the brain dead approach from the west. While demilitarizing Ukraine, he has demilitarized Europe, and perhaps he has significantly demilitarized the U.S. as well. He has fought this conflict with an awareness that the crazed NATO countries might eventually desire to declare war on Russia. That is far less likely if their armouries are empty.
By the way, anyone who thinks the SMO is stalemated is not paying attention, or is being dishonest. The latest indications are that there is a twenty to one ratio of Ukrainian KIA to Russian KIA.
BUT OF COURSE STRIDER POSTS THIS AS FACT WITHOUT POSTING HIS “RESEARCH SOURCES” OR ANY EVIDENCE ANY ALL…JUST PULLS IT OUT OF HIS ASS .
