Probably True – But Why Now?
I have no doubt, the gist of the claims in this article are most likely true. My take is that the reporting of it now and especially the tie in to using Bitcoin to remove the money from the country, are the big takeaways. This is just the latest of a number of reports, including the various ransomware incidents, mentioning the use of Bitcoin, in criminal activity. It doesn’t take a detective to follow the breadcrumbs being dropped. The US, in conjunction with the international community, is laying the groundwork for making Bitcoin illegal. https://www.zerohedge.com/bailout/half-pandemic-unemployment-funds-may-have-been-stolen-axios
