   Unlike many of the crazy goldbug sites out there, I have found Goldtent to be a haven of skilled charting and reasoned argument from different perspectives (and one I’m very gretful I came across.) I admit, though, that I never cease to be amazed by the amount of time given by some to Russia-apologist conspiracy websites like zerohedge.

       I agree with HochsChild …We all know what a conspiracy theory is and Zero Hedge is full of them.

       I have never ever made money betting on a Zero hedge article.

       Its good to know imho however what the conspiracy of the day is. And perhaps one day one of them will hit the nail on the head

         “we all know what a conspiracy theory is”? by the looks of the misinformed public the mass majority have no clue what a conspiracy theory is, most of them still gobble up the drivel of JFK being assassinated by a lone gunman and “yes those twin towers sure cold have come down from airplanes hijacked by terrorists so lets attack Iraq”. Sorry but people need to take their heads out of the sand. If anyone’s main source of information is from the national news channels or newspapers they are sadly misinformed, all news must be vetted with independent sources and thinking or you are being misled.

   Like all media outlets, some of the content on ZH is good, some not as good. That’s what critical faculties are for. But to write it off as “conspiracy theory Russian apologist propaganda”, and to insult those who find some of the information on the site useful in the process, is downright idiotic.

   Has nothing to do with TA or precious metals, which is why I am here. What happened to our editors, or are we gonna become political/conspiracy/social media crazies here as well?

   I voted for Ronald Reagan – twice. And although I don’t like Mr. Trump, I voted for him anyway. I’m a Paleoconservative if my political leanings can be classified. And I’m not a “Russia apologist” – but I’m most certainly NOT in any agreement whatsoever with war-mongering, NeoCon nitwits like John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Hillary Clinton. Putin is what he is, and I don’t care if he’s the Grand Thief of Moscow. But “Russia Bashing” from our leaders, who’ve invaded and attacked and/or incited rebellion in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Ukraine, is a sickening level of hypocrisy.

   The idea of Putin’s Russia “invading” Ukraine is preposterous. The very beginning of the Russian State – “Rus” – was in Kiev, the Kiev of Vladimir the Great. And the Crimea was part of Russia three times longer than California has been part of the United States.
   The only reason it came under the pseudo-sovereignty of Ukraine dates back to 1953-55 during the power struggle in the Kremlin that took place after Stalin’s death in March 1953.    We have been led by incompetent fools beginning with Madelyn Halfbright thru George W. Dumbass thru Obama, Hillary and Mule-face Kerry. The arrogance and bullying of our government over the past twenty years is astounding. They’ve hardly been right about anything!

     Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is not preposterous – it is fact. Tens of thousand of conscripted troops are required just to stop the Russian army encroaching even further into Lugansk and Donetsk oblasts. For you this is politics, for the people who live here it is a war started by the Russian invasion. 10,000 people have died in Ukraine as a result of this Russian invasion, and thousands of homes have been shelled and property lost. Is that getting reported in the US media and/or your favourite conspiracy websites?
