Honestly, with all the crap going on, this
place ain’t worth saving anymore. Just burn it all down and start fresh again. Never in history has an empire or nation recovered from the chaos we find ourselves in.

AND NEVER IN HISTORY HAS THERE BEEN A COUNTRY SUCH AS THE USA ….ITS MORE THAN WORTH SAVING AND IT WILL BE SAVED BUT NOT BY PESSIMISTS
USA WAS FOUNDED DURING A MUCH MORE TUMULTIOUS PERIOD ANDENDURED AND EVEN MORE TUMULTIOUS PERIOD CALLED THE CIVIL WAR AND ENDURED MULTIPLE DEPRESSIONS INCLUDING 1929 AND 2 WORLD WARS….THIS ONE IS A PIECE OF CAKE
Ha – I have to laugh at a Canuck telling an American about our history.
You are correct on one point, one point alone. There has never been a country such as the USA.
I’ll stand by my comment that no country or empire has ever recovered from the conditions we are in now. Enduring those times you refer to was when our nation was heavily populated by men of courage and faith; we ain’t got enough of such men any more. Instead we are shot through with leftwing candy ass nut jobs. The only ray of hope is our military has been returned to its patriotic roots. If the military rises up and restores constitutional government (which we have not had in multiple decades) then yes, a chance.
Otherwise we are toast. Invaded from without, corrupted and sold out within, the enemy inside our gates in tens of millions, cities being taken control of by raving mad men, corrupted courts, corrupted congress, corrupted law enforcement, corrupted agencies/departments, education, everywhere you look – nope, never seen anything like it in our history. The threat in the past was always from outside the country. Now it is inside and growing.
That civil war you refer to wasn’t even a civil war – it was a war between a peaceful country being forced into “union” with a power hungry corrupt central government. The war was not about who would control government but where would power reside – the states or Washington DC. The “triumph” of the USA in that war sealed our destiny of becoming a war-mongering empire, wreaking havoc around the world like a 1,000 lb gorilla. Lincoln’s secretary of state wanted to jail all of Jefferson’s government and try them for treason. Supreme Court justices advised Lincoln that that would be a bad idea because the secession of the Confederacy was constitutionally legit.
And don’t give me that crap about the war being over slavery. Slavery was not lawfully ended until the Confederate states were forced back into the union. At the end of the war General Grant still owned slaves.
I’m not a pessimist but my stellar learning from being involved in the idiocy of precious metal investing has taught me to be a realist, not a pollyanna ding-dong. When the facts become overwhelming it’s time to cut bait and take action.
Hope is not a strategy. Jeff Childers aside…
