   This leaves Comex as the only price setting mechanism. Fits in with the possibility for overnite or tomorrow to still have a pullback.(I didn’t know about Shanghai until I posted after Googling it just before the post.)

     CM — wouldn’t a Shanghai shutdown actually INCREASE the possibility of an overnight pullback as there is no other organization to compare COMEX to so they can do whatever they want.

     Assuming the Bullion banks still have short positions to cover before an swift move in price………..

       Yes that is why I said there could still be an overnite selloff. Until the Comex folds they can and probably will still keep playing games.

   The key is if and silver stops trading on paper, and then there is the last “paper” price plus a premium. Ultimately you would like the price to reflect what an actual buyer and and actual seller would transact and at what price. If a short seller dumps silver on an exchange, they have not actually had to sell any silver, just the paper. And many short sellers probably don’t have the metal to deliver…he who sells what isn’t hisn goes to prison…but they never do. All the COMEX allows is for speculation…at this point I have enough to want the market to determine the price, what an actual buyer and seller would agree to for a price. Why do I want this? Because I know from reading a couple of silver producer reports, they received a higher average silver price in Q4 than the average Q4 silver price on the comex. What does that mean? Bueller….Bueller…..it means the parties that are buying from these silver miners are paying a premium over the CRIMEX price, i.e. they are transacting based on an actual exchange of metal….not some douchebag who sells 10,000 silver contracts. The CRIMEX price is not real….physical should determine paper, not the other way around.

     Real Price Discovery — something that I don’t think I’ve EVER experienced in the PM marketplace — that would be a nice change!

     JPM started hoarding real Silver bullion about 24 months ago (possibly longer) — I expect that they are looking forward to a big payday over coming years!

       Well, the reason you have EVER experienced it is because there has been enough silver to satisfy manufacturers who use silver in their processes. We are going on 6 YEARS IN A ROW of a silver supply deficit. When the bullet hits the bone, so to speak, the manufacturers that want to continue to have a product will buy up to a price that no longer makes sense, or raise prices on their product. The power of the Giffen good will be released, at least for a month or so. I want to be in silver stocks when this happens, so do you. I’m not hanging on to that shit forever, I expect a lot of the names I have would at a minimum double in price from here. If that happens, I am good, I will retire, and use proceeds to buy up businesses that have real cash flow, that are impervious to AI….services that you can’t outsource and can’t do without. Target service for older people as the demand never stops and government will pay for it at least for another 15 years….

         I may have used double negative syntax on my original post and confused the point…… LOL
