THE SAME SCORE AS THE WOMANS GOLD METAL GAME ….2-1 IN OVERTIME …AGAIN USA OVER CANADA
IT’S LITTLE CONSOLATION THAT THE CANADIAN TEAM WAS FAR SUPERIOR FOR THE WHOLE GAME….THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS …..TRUMP WON !!

Used to be a hockey fan at collegiate level.
Not so much in the pro game. Never even heard of Jack Hughes before.
Can’t even tell you which team he’s from.
USA certainly had a superb goal tender. They make all the difference.
I caught pieces of the game … especially the third period.
Jack and Quinn Hughes are Brothers Both great players…Jack a Forward…Quinn a Defenseman
Also the Tchachuk Brothers play for USA…Brady and Mathew

A couple of observations from this game:
I now know why Canadian dentists are superior to the American dentists. Lots of experience at the youth level I bet after seeing a game like this in 4K. Just curious, after today’s game do the players with teeth gaps go with pristine dentures, or just kinda fillers until retirement is announced. I have noticed that retired hockey players seem to have a nice set in the mouth.
Canadians outplayed the US, both goalies outstanding, Canadians strong set of defense-men, lots of missed opportunities for goals, but hey its a game. This one could have very easilt had a different result.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW DEVISTATING THIS IS TO THE CANDIAN PSYCHE..IT’S ACTUALLY NO JOKE …ALTJOUGH LOTS OF JOKES ARE BEING MAiD ( sic)
You are right about the teeth thing. When I first started Practice there were No Mouthguards or even helmets
I am in a Small Town where EVERYONE plays hockey
Every day a kid came in with a mess from a puck stick or elbow….or more likely a Fist
If you were not missing a front tooth you were not a real Hockey Player
Removable dentures until retirement
Some tough guys just went around with NO front teeth at all
I can’t laugh or gloat, these kids were devastated. Hockey is everything to them. That said, when they handed them the little stuffed pink, blue and white things, whatever they were, the looks on the players’ faces was priceless.

But most of them are adults and making millions I would guess.
Some now even more I would guess.
But no doubt, for “these kids”, winning for your country is everything at this level.
Many may only get once chance at this. Maybe two.
