If these projects had been built, Canada would be the richest country in the world. We would have 100,000 new families, 200,000 new babies with a prosperous future. We could have fixed our catastrophic mess of a health system where 13% of people get timely cancer treatments, and 40 year olds die in waiting rooms. We could have built towns not riven by conflict, homelessness and drug addiction. We could have built town centers, brought people together, given hope.
Today the only hope for Canada is Alberta separation. Signature collection starts January 2.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s any hope for AB separation. First Nations will vehemently oppose it, and as we all know, whatever First Nations wants, First Nations gets.

Absolutely it would have. As it now stands, 1 in 5 Canadians (me included) has no family doctor and limited access to even basic care. We are taxed to death, our groceries are proportionally more than same in the US, yada yada.

No doctor? In this day and age you may be lucky. Most of them we have learned (since covid) are murderous, vaccinating, pill-pushing, money loving cockroaches who really don’t give a shit about your health as long as they get a fat salary, free trips and kickbacks from pharma. Count your blessings you can’t see one and take care of yourself instead.

Some of my favorite places in the whole world in Mexico. I used to scuba dive in the Gulf of California when I was in my teens. Killer whales would migrate there in September. Amazing experience. Many expats there, especially Lake Chapala.
