‘Hennepin County law enforcement leaders are calling the decision not to prosecute felonies stemming from traffic stops “deeply troubling.’

“This morning we are here to talk about the Hennepin County’s decision not to prosecute felony cases that stem from low-level traffic stops. Lawful traffic stops are routinely led to the removal of illegally possessed guns, narcotics and other serious threats from our streets — The criminals are paying attention, people.”
