GDX – black box trade at 11:24 am – 60 seconds 18.7mill vol w/ $0.09 price spread (dwarfs all other intra-day vol). For a bit more context, only 3mill in vol took the market down $2.28 at the open this morning.

touched the recent upleg 38% fib ~ $48.30
plus came within pennies of filling that gap from a week ago ~ $47.7x
gold was due for a breather
we went up very fast in the last 2 weeks
now wonder if GLD will find some support ~ $300 area or go a bit lower
are being moved by whatever latest ‘rumors’ and/or ‘palace intrigue’
Heh, yes got burned on failed gap fill late February, done playing TA musical chairs esp. when I can only trade my (401k) at closing prices.
Gold futs down 3.7% Silver up 2%, clown world indeed.
