This is not about who is Speaker. This is about which wing of the party, MAGA or RINO, is going to be in charge. Of course Gaetz had no plan because there are enough RINOs to thwart any plan he might have put together. Now is the time for Trump to engage and throw his weight into the fray. He should stand for Speaker and make every RINO vote for or against him, knowing a vote against Trump will almost certainly end their career. They can’t be re-elected without Trump supporters and Trump supporters won’t vote for them if they have directly voted against him. They think they can get away with voting against Jordan, and they may indeed be able to. But they won’t be able to hide from a vote against Trump

If Jordan had anything to do with running this plan up the flagpole, he should no longer be considered for the post.
