I’m selling some of my pm crap and buying a story the just left the gate today…PRPB
Meltdown Monday, Tricky Tuesday, Weeping Wednesday, Thrilling Thursday, Fooled ya Friday. Give my specialized trading schedule a whirl,
I am in TZA and BOIL. And I am sleeping better.
If you don’t have to produce income staying in cash for six months is probably a decent strategy.
Sirs Noman, Fully, Kewl2, JSK and Highroller,
This amateur has been using the strategy of:
(i) realizing profits in PM shares, mostly long-term profits, multiple times every month
(ii) reinvesting that cash (all proceeds including gains) in PM and non-PM shares and
(iii) not adding new cash to buy PM shares.
(iv) Since the last 15-18 months I started adding cash only for buying non-PM shares, but have been successful only in AAPL. Average buy price 133.42. 6% of my portfolio (invested cash)
(v) Other non-PM juniors/majors gainers are AGQ ((sold partially, it is an ETF so I don’t count it as a junior/senior win) , Cameco (sold fully, sold too early, Fission Uranium (sold partly, more profits %age than Cameco )
(vi) Biggest lucky win was selling SVBL … I sold 90% of my stake … executed 19 (Nineteen) sells !!! … sale price range of low of 0.7175 on 2/25/21, to high of 1.2 on 6/28/21 … and then back as low as 0.88 on 9/20/21 when something kept telling me to not count on a bounce again in the near future … I regret not having sold all my SVBL having waited over 3 years and 9 months of holding this silver junior, but what luck/timing it was to sell in the above range, and then saw it fall all the way to 30 cents again. Still have 3500 shares remaining.
(vii) I have never produced an income, per se, as reinvesting the cash back has now led to more unrealized losses.
Thanks,
GL
Amen brother Fully.
