ALL of rural USA is strongly for freedom. This is the Theme Everywhere
USA: (not a perfect observation)
If you are wealthy, you vote Democrat and vote for welfare payments to keep the poor placated so you can make off like a bandit with tax preferred treatment so the poor don’t rise up to take you out.
If you are a small business owner you probably vote Republican.
If you are poor but not religious you definitely vote Democrat.
If poor and religious you vote Republican for conservative values. You are likely rural as well.
Middle class may be the independents or swing voters, I’m not sure.
One thing for sure, they hate each other at the opposite ends of the spectrum.
