   The one year I subscribed to Rambus, I nearly lost everything. Don’t ask me to indulge in his kamikaze game plan. He makes enough from suckers like me who followed him at the wrong time of the year. He’s human, fallible and made himself rich during the great gold rush from the distant past. He can afford mistakes, not his subscribers.

     Everybody has a different experience with every analyst .

     Mine is way different from yours. I have been with Rambus from 2006 (12 years) and have been very very happy with my results

     Including having stepped aside from 40 Miners in 2013 as well as great results from shorting at times.

     This time around after experience with the 3Xers (DUST and JNUG) I am not participating…BUT…Rambus has been On Dust and Jnug early and cashed out just recently.

     This here post outlines his strategy for getting back in…and it is a very good strategy IMO . As always there is a warning about the volitility in these Derivitives of derivitives

     Not everybody accepts responsibility for their trades but those who do tend to be the ones who make money in this trading “game”

   I’m very sceptical too Marcus. I followed Spock for a year (at great expense) and put about about 25% of my investments into his recommendations. I lost about 30%, but held on and they’ve now fallen 90%. Too late now, and if I’d invested more I’d be wiped out. Luckily Graddhys Uranium recommendations have saved my portfolio and I’m flat over the last couple of years. That might sound ok, but I bought HUI and GDXJ miners just after the late 2015 low, and was up around 100%. I’m going to be very careful and trust my own instincts in future.

     Keep faith in Spock’s selection. As long as they they have funds these should come back when PM sector comes back. Need SGR to have turn around. to bring speculation or risk on. In that scenario these are the ones would very well. GSR opposite of SGR is too long at the top for almost 5 yeears since 2011.

       I believe faith is not the best strategy. One should never follow any newsletter writer blindly and always take 100% responsibility and ownership for ANY trade. Spock or any other newsletter writer is just like a journalist giving you information. Based on that you can chose to follow his recommendations or not. But in the case it goes south don’t think anybody will help you. That’s why you have to track any investment by yourself fundamentally and technically and decide if you still want to own it or not regardless what that newsletter writer tells you to do. I sometimes follow newsletter writers when buying a stock, but I never let anybody decide my exit point. I recently decided to sell a Zinc related and copper related story, because I lost faith in near term progress, when at the same time the respective newsletter writer still has it as Top pick.
       In junior mining investing you are always on your own, and it never hurts to sell when you see better stories elsewhere.

     My experience with Spock was quite different Northstar.

     I bought the rocks early and rode them up…them made my own decision to sell after they topped

     Was up 400% and sold out at half that.

     Again….every analyst wants his subscribers to do well …but no one should be playing in this space without an exit plan based on his own devices. Each must take responsibiity for his own entry and exit points. We ALL have different goals and different risk tolerances. Know thyself !

   This is the exact reason I won’t buy any of this news letters. I’ve never heard confirmation if there are clear entry and exits. If I have to trade on my own, why would I need them to buy what I already know what to buy. I don’t understand how the writers given in the examples above would have not given exit recommendations. It defeats the purpose. I’m just trying to give you good feedback Fully. I have often thought about signing up as a way to confirm what I see as an investor/trader.

     Rambus is first and foremost a resource to keep you on the right side of the market in various timeframes.

     1B….it is a teaching site…teaching the discipline of Chartology

     There are Many Many hundreds of long term subscribers who benifit from Rambus teachings and his chartology.

     To each his own.

     For SURE I am multiples ahead of where I would be , because of my study of Rambus work. Still I make my own trading decisions and take fully responsibility .

   People trade in different timeframes.
   But there are OBJECTIVE metrics one can define, in any timeframe, for both entries and exits.
   They will not be foolproof and 100% reliable.
   But with stops and scaling in and out you can ride any market with low risk.
   However, its much easier to manage with sophisticated charting software.
   So that’s where I put my money — the charting and data feeds. Not the guidance from others.
   Too often, their criteria don’t fit mine … they are late on entries and exits both.
