Another Gold Follower (techie)
Hi all
Pleased to meet you all. I have been reading few posts here and over in other blogs where some users are present in multiple sites. I appreciate all the info presented and shared and going out of your way to actually contribute and not just consume.
I am a financial technologist whom is working in the trading and asset management industry.. I make the pipes, trading screens, systems, risk management, back office, exchange routing, data feeds, etc. Founded my company in the end of 2009 and I am based in Dubai.
I am very interested in investing in Gold bugs and start-ups. I understand technical analysis basics.. I wish to use my technical knowledge in advancing. I do not have the deep technical analysis experience, but, i use predictive analysis to determine when to buy and sell or do other things. Its Neural Networks – which is known as Artificial Intelligence. I have been trying to hunt for “good inputs” to feed my neural network – to see if it can make use of these inputs in its decision making.. inputs can be normal indicators, or fancy indicators, smoothers, lag vs lagless indicators, etc.. If you wish to validate an input among others, feel free to reach out..
Welcome Xeo

Have you Met Socrates ?
🙂
Looks like his handle is Xeo, not Zeo. Although yes it sounds that way.
PS….what is your program telling you regarding Gold >?
Welcome!
a hardy welcome to advanced computing here Xeo
Thanks all.
I’ll be sharing few charts shortly. The endless possibilities of finding what inputs to mix together to achieve a better target (and have to define what the target is.. focus on net profit, return on account, etc) has been a never ending exercise.
I can tell you that after studying GDXJ on it’s own vs mixing gold indicators into the analysis and the GDXJ to gold ratios has developed a wider view on things.
I’m out now, but when back I’ll be sharing my findings and the signals will be very different in each set of inputs, so I am working on a board of directors type analysis, multiple charts, and a macro one that takes majority charts descisions..
