? In the last 24 hours, at least 7 more countries:
?? Sweden: ICA and Coop hit. One ICA manager: “Everything is destroyed.”
?? Belgium: at least 76 locations.
?? Luxembourg: 4 Delhaize stores.
?? Ireland: 13 SuperValu stores.
?? Netherlands: at least 17 businesses.
?? Estonia: one freezer set to +50C.
?? Finland: several suspected attacks.
? Store attacks were also reported in Poland, Germany and Portugal. Same kind? Not clear.
? At least 6 US military base stores had freezer failures in late August. The Pentagon is treating them as a suspected hack.
? In the UK, a security firm found last month that the login pages of more than 800 shop fridges can be reached online by anyone who knows where to look. Not a break-in. A front door on the street. It also found 15 Danfoss fridges on the open internet.

One hacked night and the food doesn’t just get warm. It gets thrown out.
The UK’s National Cyber Security Centre has advised retailers to patch the holes.
EU agriculture commissioner Christophe Hansen called the attacks “a deliberate attempt to disrupt our food supply chain.”
Belgium’s cyber centre said: “It is not known who is behind this attack, and it may never be determined.”
First France. Then at least 7 more countries. As high as 80C. Now Britain is on alert.
