Democrats are having a meltdown after Rep. Haley Stevens flipped and endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for a coveted Michigan Senate seat – appearing with him on Sunday at a black church in Detroit ahead of midterms, just two days away.
According to RawStory, Haley’s congressional staff began resigning ‘almost immediately,’ and “observers online suggested she “sold her soul” for power.”
Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called it a “despicable beytrayal from Rep. Stevens.” Except, Schumer’s hands aren’t exactly clean this election cycle (are they ever?)…
