At the highest peak in Australia with my 84 yo ski buddy right now
At Threadbo, NSW. She keeps motoring along the trail.
Haven’t followed much world news.
Not one person I have encountered is concerned with fuel shortages.
We have bought regular at 1.72AUD which is less than most of BC. It is refreshing to ignore what must be going on
Bon Voyage Columbia. Great to hear you are feeling freed from all the worlds various psyops.
I really hate snow but realize you love the stuff!
The Mt Kosciusko hike was great. It was a windy sunny 10 C. Their ski season is a few weeks away but no snow in the forecast. Met lots of people from all over on the way there.
Australia has PM Albo who is universally hated. Humourous to hear elderly 80+ yo talk about Albo.
Stay out of Sydney and the rural people for the most part are normal.
TDS is rampant among the elderly Australians. The same talking points that they can’t defend.
I have been fortunate to be welcomed into some exclusive clubs in NSW. I have not seen many homeless or very many of the migrants I hear about. I was not taken to those areas possibly on purpose. My host is well connected and is oblivious to what is happening in the world.
A good friend of Aussie Digger.
Very friendly country. More laid back than Canada or the US.
I sense a good change in the next few years. Just like Canada. People are fed up and just do their thing.
WOW….GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU COLUMBIA…SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE ON AN EXCELLENT ADVENTURE
WE ALL COULD USE SOME TIME AWAY FROM ALL THE “NEWS” AND JUST GET CONNECTED WITH “REAL” PEOPLE AND PLACES
LIKE EVERYTHING WE READ ABOUT THE FUEL CRISIS IN OZ SEEMS LIKE BS
HAVE A BLAST AND THANKS FOR CHECKING IN
