Apparently this is the law — Do I Need To Be Vaccinated To Navigate to Canada?
From October 30 (2021???) onwards, every single person who travels or works on federal public service and federal-regulated transportation services is required to be vaccinated. This applies to everyone boarding a Canadian vessel, be it a passenger or an employee.
The Canadian federal government has established mandatory vaccination as of the ongoing COVID-19 worldwide pandemic to protect its citizens and residents. These measures are taken to reduce the spread of the virus on a national scale and avoid transmission as much as possible.

The document you have sourced was written in July of 2023 (about 2.5 years ago) when the world was still obsessing over second and third shots and compliance made a difference to a lot of people. Given the recent research out of Japan and the efforts of RFK the vaccination campaign has been seriously damaged such that the majority of people are not willing to take that medicine at any price.
But thanks for setting off panic bells Kewl2!!
Agree that it was “posted” in 2023 but buried in the document it refers to 2020/21 which means it must have been written prior to 2023. I went into their website to see if I could find the document (VERY difficult) but it was there when I tried a specific google search. Anyway COVID was a scamdemic from Day One but it created laws like this one which apparently have not been recinded. Of course, I have no idea whether it’s being acted upon – ie: demanding documents when anyone boards a vessel or Coast Guard pulls you over for inspection.
“But thanks for setting off panic bells Kewl2!!” — is bringing this law to everyones attention “a good thing or a bad thing” in your opinion Farmer??
Panic Bells because at first I thought it was current news and secondly because I am currently overseas.
I said it as a hit-tip to you.
What difference does it make when that was written or your commentary about peoples attitudes? If it is still Canadian law then people have to abide by it or not travel to or within Canada. Am I missing something?
You are right. It should not matter. I want to wish you Seasons Greetings Mr Chartsmaster and hope you are enjoying the holidays.
no ones pulling you over at present…. not sure they ever were….am I wrong, ask Fully….
This is Not a Thing . It’s Bullshit
thats my answer
see Plunger’s comment which he posted on the wrong thread….copied here
Last month I just worked under Transport Canada rules in Montreal and flew on Air Canada. Never a comment about complying to these rules.
I read these rules as specific to the waterways – there is no mention of air or other forms of transport. The document posted is from the gov’t of Canada website referenced, is specific to boating and is current of time of posting.
Whether they are enforcing the regulations is a different question.
