Ever notice that “they” have us at each other’s throats
Ever since social media became a thing, algorithms slot us into a category where we see stuff that pisses us off. This is from both sides. That’s right, to piss us off so that we do not unite to battle the real enemy which is the UN/WEF/unelected Climate crazies/WHO and all the psycho billionaires who want to control the world.
I get emails in my inbox daily that I likely signed up for in the past but now delete without reading.
If it’s politics it usually gets a delete. I’ll sign Petitions, but sometimes what’s the point. But otherwise it’s a guarantee to piss us off. Two of my friends/neighbours are on the opposite side of the fence but we get along fairly well. Never discuss politics. We do have the same basic concerns which unite us.
Everyone needs a purpose in life, a routine. Stay and eat healthy food. Get out in nature everyday. Support the local economy or they will disappear. Help your neighbours regardless of their views. Read non-fiction books on learning new skills or just useful info or history. Right now it is investing to reach a goal to prepare for the next currency transition. We know what is coming, so prepare. Keeps me plenty busy. All the noise along the way is a distraction and causes anxiety which is what “they” want. it wears one down and takes your mental and physical health away.
I was a Centre person who voted but paid little attention to the back and forth until Covid. The internet opened my eyes earlier to want to seek the truth. Thankfully the Scamdemic fully awakened me but maybe too much has been seen. Covid has woken up more people than we know but most will not discuss it.
Sorry if I don’t comment on MAGA, the wars or all the shit that is going on. It’s all by design. There is not much I can do except tell the crazies to leave me the fuck alone and go about living my life in non-compliance.
My rant for the day.
ALL TRUE
DEVIOUS FUCKS
The ‘nice’ thing about covid (if you’ll indulge the adjective), is that thousands/millions who were pre-2020 normies, woke up and they can NEVER UN-SEE what they witnessed. And on top of that, everything that comes after MAKES SENSE in a new and DARK sort of way. Not pleasant, but just like adoption of PM’s as a store of wealth – people are waking up all the time – not until the next Financial crisis hits, will people be less inclined to believe the narrative and do what their heart tells them.
As usual, great insights and I agree. I spend little time on the political nonsense. Read about it, aware of it, but focus on other more positive aspects of life.
Good Rant…….
A good rant it it. Could have written it myself. I must have deleted/unsubscribed to a dozen+ “sources” this week already. Finally got sick of all the shit about which I can do nothing. I’ve come to the point where I accept that I will never have conversations of substance with “friends”, only with my son and my wife. My daughter and son-in-law avoid and topics that truly matter; it is something that took me a long time to accept as we used to have great back-and-forth conversations that could go on for days and days.
No I’m more interested in removing stress and enjoying things that I do, much as you describe. Pickleball is a high point in my week with an occasional round of golf thrown in (1:04 tee time today under perfect weather conditions.)
The thrill of precious metals investing has instead turned into a steady grind. But grind I do until I either die or the system collapses, whichever comes first. Trying now to aim for one outside activity a week with the rapidly aging wife. Wish we could do more but she’s got too many aches and pains. We now get joy from little things, like four big blooms this morning on the hibiscus tree outside our kitchen window….
Thanks all. So I am not alone.
Woke up this morning refreshed, took the dog out in a fog that one could equate to the London Fog (before the dawn). Trees are shedding the last of their leaves. Love the canopy streets where the stately deciduous trees touch each other over the centre of the street. The city is awakening with the dog walkers half asleep. The early commuters are rushing off to wherever they go. Peace and tranquility before the rest of the city awakes. A scene out of the movie Halloween. I forget the craziness of the times for awhile. My mind goes back to the 70’s which for me was the best of times.
Time to check the mkts and pursue my hobby.
Always appreciate your thoughts – it is indeed a BEAUTIFUL DAY – my last working for The Man – retiring after 34 years in the financial/retirement services industry.
“Free at last, Free at last, Thank God almighty – free at last.”
Congrats you are now your own person. Hope you have lots of hobbies and plans for your future.
Congratulations YYZ!
Major life event……….
