The Huffington Post ran a clownish article yesterday about CNN’s awful effort to feign outrage at the mistreatment of a humble public servant, captioned with this indecipherable headline: “Anthony Fauci Grills Elon Musk’s ‘Craziness’ For Call To Prosecute Him.”
The sub-headline provided slightly more context: “‘Prosecute me for what?’ asked Fauci, who has previously referred to the Twitter CEO’s attacks as ‘merely a distraction.’”
The “story” (non-story) was that CNN’s Jim Acosta interviewed Fauci, who has been remarkably out of the limelight for an octogenarian who never missed a chance to go on friendly media, including hip-hop podcasters and rainbow-haired social media influencers on TikTok.
Yesterday CNN dragged Fauci out of hiding to polish up the so-called doctor’s reputation a bit, and Acosta got right to it. He tossed Fauci an obsequious softball, assuming in the question that the only people who want Fauci sentenced were today’s villain, Tesla founder Elon Musk, plus a handful of “extreme” Republicans in Congress:
“[Musk and] others in the GOP have talked about arresting you and prosecuting you, um, for your handling of covid. What’s your response to that, your response to Musk, and what has that been like for your family?”
As he always does when offered the chance to give a simple and obvious answer, Fauci acted BAFFLED:
Well, I mean, there’s no response to that craziness, Jim. I mean, prosecute me for WHAT? What, what are they TALKING about? Heh heh. I mean, I wish I could figure out what the heck they were talking about. I think they’re just going off the deep end. That’s the answer to your first question. It doesn’t make any sense to say something like that and it actually is irresponsible.
Haha! That’s their new narrative! The new narrative is, Fauci is the VICTIM! Not the millions of dead and disabled Americans, no. The REAL story is that devilish right-winger Elon Musk is being mean to him! And also Fauci’s poor, innocent, unidentified family, who “don’t like to have me getting death threats all the time, every time somebody gets up and spouts some nonsense that’s misinformation, disinformation, and outright lies.”
Poor Fauci.
Anthony obviously has a martyr complex. And his family is suffering FOR HIM. Because when Fauci suffers, everybody suffers. I suppose that’s also true for every criminal; I bet Jeffrey Dahmer’s family was pretty unhappy with the turn of events too.
Anyway, since Fauci can’t think of any reasons, and wishes someone would explain it to him, I am happy to volunteer to help. I have some suggestions to help that little cockroach catch up with current events. Fauci wants to know, prosecute him for WHAT? Here are a few ideas:
— Stealing science’s identity
— Criminal smugness
— Permissive narcissism
— Absolute incompetence
— Squatting at the NIAID
— Low character and degeneracy
— Diabolical overuse of the phrase, “I mean”
— Felonious talking in circles
— Doctor shopping for his Paxlovid addiction
That was just off the top of my head, and without even getting around to: lying to Congress, falsifying official U.S. government documents, perjury, violating the gain of function research ban, negligent manslaughter, mass murder, crimes against humanity, and treason.
Anyway, I’m glad I could help, since CNN didn’t seem to help Fauci much with the fine details. He’s welcome.
