This is where it all comes unravelled. No one but the Branch and diehard Lefties want this. Oh, the kids are brainwashed through wokism as well.
The protests will overwhelm those who try to contain them. Bring it on and let’s get it over with.

I will relate a little bit about the moment our freedom group confronted the mayor and council (concerning 15 minute cities) at the town council meeting. We showed up in mass. The town engineer dragged extra chairs for the public gallery from the adjoining office until he ran out of chairs. There was standing room only. The spill over stood in the hallway.
Spoiler alert: The meeting got out of hand. Accusations of lying and taking bribes were hurled at the mayor. This from an “Action for Canada” member from a nearby city . He crashed our meeting. He ranted on about the WEF and i5 minute cities and eating bugs.
Horrors! He was loud and he would not shut up. It looked like we would all be evicted from the council chambers.
There was much shouting. Threats of law suits and counter suits flew back and forth.
The police were summoned.
Our freedom group, when allowed to speak, distributed to mayor, councilors, city engineer, and secretary, a folio printed from a government of Canada website. The folio defined smart cities, 15 minute cities, and showed our town on the map of prospective 15 minute cities.
At that moment the atmosphere underwent a dramatic cooling off. The “penny dropped” as they say, and the council realized that our concerns are real and that they are justified. Also revealed, inadvertently, that they were, in fact, lying. You ought to have seen their faces.
The mayor promised no 15 minute smart city without a referendum. The council vowed to study the 15 minute city agenda and to discuss the issue at the next council meeting.
Our Freedom group will descend again on the next council meeting, that will be early March. We already told the town council that we will, if necessary, send a mass mail out about 15 minute smart cities to every mail box in the town post office. We will organize this whole town.
(We have a new recruit, a business person about town. He/she attended an emergency meeting previously at chez moi when our plan was hatched. It is he/she that will provide photo copy service and stationery for the mail out.)
Our Freedom Group has a general meeting every month, usually on a Saturday starting at 4:00 PM. It is winter, so there is always a cheery bonfire, and at JD’s acreage there is a covered stage with lighting and sound system. There is always a pot luck dinner – everyone brings something.
Our the last meeting featured local talent on vocals and guitar. (He is a very talented individual who is often featured at the town bandshell during summer’s “Friday evening at the Park”)
So we meet and chat and voice our concerns. We offer support and comfort to those who might need it. We discuss ways to thrive and remain independent in an every changing and often threatening world.
Our group is growing. We now have members from nearby hamlets, and even from a nearby city. This whole thing started with Covid, and though Covid is waning our war with the Branchies is not yet over. Now there are climate lockdowns and other concerns.
I know of several other Freedom groups in other cities and towns – organic, spontaneous, politically active groups that sprang up here in British Columbia. We are thinking it could be beneficial to network with these other Freedom groups. That is an issue for a future meeting.

The vast majority have caught on. It’s easier to fight this evil agenda.
I should correct that statement. Once it’s explained to the people, very few are in favour.
It’s not like Covid.
