   Thanks Northstar….would you agree Euro has to break thru that downtrend line and that would be difficult on first second and maybe even a third try and its possible we get a big reversal there ?

   On a Fundamental side…how the hell will Europe take it ( Germany) if their currency strengthens this drastically….would kill the exports

   Also what if the Euro Zone just crumbles as it has threatened to do ?

   anyhow we shall see…

     Europe and Germany will not take well if the Euro will strenghten too much of course….then there are the elections in Italy in may….then there is the migrant invasion….Europe could be in a bad situation.
     I would personally hope to see the collapse of EU (not Europe) .
     Anyway if Trump needs a low dollar he will try to get it at any cost.
     So could be the case that ,whatever happens, the real winner could be GOLD????
     We all need a competitive devaluation!!!!

   Some great points there – I see the dollar cycle heading down now, in tandem with the Euro/commodity/gold cycle turning up. Just opposite sides of the same coin. Big disruptions ahead, but all I need to know is that it’s PM positive into the mid 2020’s.

   And yes, that downtrend line needs to be broken to the upside to prove my case. I believe it has a good chance at the next attempt, but could conceivably take 2 or 3 attempts.

   Indeed FGC.My bias will turn negative when the cycles do, but until then Im expecting continued, overall upward momentum.

   The 20-21 Mar FOMC meeting will probably date the ICL (weekly cycle low) for the USD and also define resistance for the EURO at your top trend line!

   A counter trend will see the USD rise and EURO and gold fall but the larger and dominant cycle will prevail and eventually the USD will fall further and the EURO break through that trend line.
