The Gold To Silver ratio continues to remain elevated, once again getting back above 90. It was about a month ago when around 92, that I said it had topped and likely to head south. It did, but after stubbornly remaining in the high 80’s, has once again gotten back over 90 and threating to exceed that 92 area.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         I went back to the charts from the 2020 covid spike when it reached it’s record near 120. What is different from then, and why it is unlikely to get anywhere near that level, was the difference in how the metals got to such an extreme difference, then compared to now. In 2020 the extreme came from Silver declining a quick 40%, while Gold only dropped about 10-15%, during the covid everything crash.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     This time around the rise has been the result of Gold surging higher while Silver has had more limited gains. So while the ratio could conceiveably get to 95 or even 100, if Gold explodes higher, it is unlikely, as Silver is about to breakout of it’s resistance area that has kept it contained since October. It has become pretty clear that a stock market drop this time around, is not setting the stage for an everything crash like 2020.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Instead, it is proving to be the trigger event for a major capital rotation into both Gold and Silver. Gold may continue to outperform for a while, but Silver will eventually catch up and exceed in percentage terms, as it always ends up doing. The ultimate high water mark for the GSR for this cycle, may yet to be reached, but 100 or 120 is highly unlikely.

The present Canadian Government has done an abrupt about face on selling our energy abroad. Bypassing the US mkt.
There are discussions with Chinese Energy companies to invest in Alberta so that more energy can flow to China in the coming years.

I’m hearing this from some Oil and Gas consultants on the mtn. What shocks me is that Carney’s Net-Zero appears to be thrown out the window.
