Sounds like Bernie is concerned about Trump doing something drastic before the midterms.

He alleges Trump is an authoritarian that does not believe in democracy or the rule of law, and is going to make it harder for people to vote.

To me, this sounds like the Dems believe Trump is going to use Executive power to secure the 2026 election, which means they are going to get massacred, and their voter fraud is going to be exposed.

They are afraid of something Trump is about to do related to 2026 election security, and Bernie said that they “have to be prepared for that”.
