• Amazon said it recouped $600 million in tariff refunds in the second quarter and intends to return some of that cash to shoppers.
  • The company previously hadn’t disclosed whether it would recoup tariff costs after the Supreme Court ruled many of President Donald Trump’s levies were illegal.
  • Amazon landed in hot water with the White House last year after it was reported that the company planned to display tariff-related surcharges on its website.
